玩拼圖是很好的英語啟蒙場景，因為它充滿了動作和實物，持續時間較長，需要重複的相同句式較多，寶寶又對其充滿了興趣。玩拼圖涉及的詞彙並不多，主要有以下幾個，下面的視頻中都有所涉及。

1. 如何翻譯「拼」這個詞？

可以用put together或者solve。Can you solve / put together this jigsaw puzzle? 你能把這幅拼圖拼上麼？但是，在實際會話中put、go with等動詞就指代了「拼」的動作，如視頻中的：Put the corners in and then go with the sides. 把角兒放進去，然後拼邊兒。

2. Side 邊兒；Corner 角兒

Look at this puzzle piece. It has two straight sides, which means it’s a corner piece.

看看這塊。它有兩個直的邊，這說明它是用來拼角的。

After the corners, it’s easier to find the sides.

拼完角兒，拼邊兒就比較容易了。

5. Frame 框；Match 對上

The corner of this puzzle frame looks like a green leaf. This corner puzzle piece with half of a green leaf should match up with that corner.

看看拼圖邊框的角兒，是一個半片的綠葉。所以這個有另一半綠葉的碎片就應該對在角兒這兒。

6. Missing piece 缺少的碎片

Can you find the missing pieces? We only have five more to finish. 你能找到缺的幾塊拼圖麼？咱們差五塊就拼上了。

7. Tab 凸起；Blank 凹陷

Please match up the tab of this puzzle piece with the blank of that other puzzle piece. 把這個碎片凸出來的部分放進另外一塊碎片凹進去的地方。

8. No, this is wrong. This piece doesn’t belong here.

不對，這塊不應該放這兒。
