　　普陀山的英文介紹

　　古蹟的小島，在我國可以說是絕無僅有。普陀山位於浙江省杭州灣以東約100海裡，是舟山群島中的一個小島。全島面積12.5平方公裡，呈狹長形，南北最長處為8.6裡，東西最寬外3.5公裡。最高處佛頂山，海拔約300米。

　　普陀山的海天景色，不論在哪一個景區、景點，都使人感到海闊天空。雖有海風怒號，濁浪排空，卻並不使人有驚濤駭浪之感，只覺得這些異景廳觀使人振奮。

　　PujiTemple,FayuTemple,andHuijiTemplearethethreelargestinthetwentytemplesinPutuo.PujiTemple,covering11,000squaremeters,wasfirstbuiltinSongDynasty,andisthemaintempledevotedtotheGoddessofGuanxin.FayuTemplewasfirstbuiltinMing.Itsitsalongthemountainwithdifferentlayersonit.Numerouslargetreesstandinthemountain,qualifythetempleforaquietanddeepplace.HuijiTempleisontheFodingPeak,sogetsanameafterthat,FodingPeakTemple.

　　Bizarrerocksandqueercliffscanbeseeneverywhere.ThemostfamoustwentyareQingtuoRock,RockofTwoTortoisesListeningtoPreaching,RockofBuddhistHeavenonSea,etc.Alongthelinewherethemountainconnectswiththesea,manyspectacularcavesareveryattractive.ChaoyinCaveandFanyinCavearethetwotopones.
