序數詞口訣

　　1、「基」變「序」很容易，詞尾加上「th」。

　　2、「一」二「三」無規律，理應單獨來記憶。

　　3、「八」減「t」、「九」去「e」，「f」來把「ve」替；「二十」到「九十」，「ty」變成「tie」。

　　4、若是遇到「幾十幾」，只變個位就可以。

　　5、說明：

　　（1）基數詞變序數詞時，通常是在詞尾加上後綴-th。如：four→fourth, seven→seventh, eleven→eleventh等。

　　（2）one, two, three的序數詞分別是first, second和third,必須逐個記憶。

　　（3）eight的序數詞加h即可(eighth), nine在變ninth時應去掉e, five和twelve在加th之前要先把ve變為f, 即為fifth, twelfth。

　　（4）twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty和ninety這些整十的基數詞在加th之前應先將y變為ie。

　　（5）「幾十幾」的基數詞在變序數詞時，只要把個位數變為序數詞即可，而十位數、百位數、千位數等不變。如：forty-three→forty-third, two hundred and six→two hundred and sixth等。
