　　重陽節，又稱登高節，為農曆九月初九。在重陽節這天，傳統的飲食是重陽糕、菊花(chrysanthemum)酒、菊花茶。登高、插茱萸(cornel)和賞菊是重陽節的重要習俗。

　　這些活動不僅增加了重陽節的節日氣氛，而且據說通過這些活動，還可以避禍免災。如今，重陽節已經無法見到插茱萸的風俗了，但是很多人仍然習慣在這一天登高賞菊，觀賞秋天的美景。在中國的一些地方，重陽節還有祭拜祖先之墓的風俗。具有悠久歷史的重陽節已經被列入第一批國家級非物質(in切rngible)文化遺產名錄。
