CS簡介

CS主要的研究方向包含：artificial intelligenCE、human computer interaction;distributed interactive system;theoretical computer science;frictionless;distributed and real-time systems;networks;performance analysis;internet and grid application development;computer entertainment等。

CS比較特殊，一般會在兩個學院下面，研究生文理學院或是工程學院。所以如果申請的話要根據具體所在的學院來定位學生的申請。文理學院下面要求語言會頗高，工程學院要求背景，研究經歷比較嚴格。

同學們選擇學校的時候後是以Department為單位來查校，CS常在的學院為Department of Computer science，如果是文理學院下面的CS一般只提供MS或PHD學位，要是工程學院下面的CS是會提供MEng，MS及PHD學位，所以要根據學生具體情況來定校。

CE簡介

CE主要的研究方向包含：Computer systems，computer architecture，distribute and parallel systems，parallel processing，parallel algorithms，computer networks，hardware software interaction，VLSI design，embedded systems，numerical analysis，systems simulation，robotics，neural networks，switching networks and large-scale systems等。

CE涉及的碩士學位一般分有MS和MEng兩種，要看具體的學校學位設置。學位的具體方向還是有區別的，一定要根據學校的具體研究方向來定校。

CE一般都是在工程學院下面，涉及的學院有Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering 及Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science 等。該專業是CS和EE結合的一個方向，所以學校不是特別多，要慎重選擇。

EE簡介

具體的研究方向：solid-state devices，quantum electronics，electronic materials，fiber optics，lasers，optical materials，microwave and electromagnetic theory，communication systems and networks，information theory and coding，control and large-scale systems，digital circuits，computer vision and robotics，biomedical electronics.

該專業屬於工程學院，一般是在Department of Electric Engineer ， Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering 等下面。具體會有該專業的分支方向。

EE專業是有MS和MEng兩種碩士學位。每個學位有具體的課程設置要求，可以根據每個學校的不同特點來進行定位。學校這邊主要以硬體學習為主，這是與計算機科學最大的不同之處。
