I’m Peppa pig.我是佩奇。

This is my little brother, George.這是我的弟弟喬治。

This is Mummy Pig. 這是我的媽媽。

And this is Daddy Pig. 這是我的爸爸。

Children! It's nearly tea time, so you must wash your hands.

George's putting the dolls to bed. Night night!

Narrator: Peppa is playing with her doll's house. George is playing, too.佩奇在玩她的玩偶小屋，喬治也在玩。

Peppa is making a tea party for the doll family.佩奇要給玩偶之家開個茶會。

Peppa: Here, George! I'm the Mummy and Daddy.來吧，喬治！我來扮演媽媽和爸爸。

You can be the children. 你來扮演孩子們。

Narrator: George's putting the dolls to bed. 喬治把玩偶放在床上。

George: Night night! 晚安！

Peppa: George, why are you putting the children to bed? 喬治，你為什麼把孩子們都放在床上？

They're having a tea party.他們要開茶會了。

Narrator: George likes putting the dolls to bed.喬治喜歡把它們放在床上。

The spider likes George. 蛛蛛也喜歡喬治。

Peppa loves playing tea parties.佩奇喜歡舉辦茶會。

Peppa: Where are all the chocolate biscuits, Daddy? 巧克力餅乾都上哪兒去了，爸爸？

We had lots yesterday! 我們昨天還有很多的！

Peppa: Hello, Mr. Skinnylegs. 你好，瘦腿先生。

Narrator: Peppa feels a little bit braver. 佩奇現在沒那麼害怕了。

Peppa: He likes being in my doll's house. 它喜歡待在我的玩偶房子裡。

Mummy Pig: Hello, children. 你們好，孩子們，

I hear you've found a little spider. 我聽說你們發現了一隻小蛛蛛。

I'll take him out of the bedroom so you two can play. 我過來把它拿走，這樣你們就能玩了。

Peppa: Mummy, his name is Mr. Skinnylegs. 媽媽，我給他取了個名字叫瘦腿先生。

Mummy Pig: Oh! Mr. Skinnylegs is big, isn't he? 哦！瘦腿先生個子挺大的是吧？

Narrator: Peppa and George like the spider. 佩奇和和喬治喜歡蛛蛛。

Narrator: Peppa isn't afraid of the spider anymore. 佩奇現在不再害怕蛛蛛了。Peppa: Mummy, Daddy. Sit down. 媽媽爸爸，請坐下。

We're all going to have tea with Mr. Skinnylegs. 不如我們大家都來和瘦腿先生一起喝茶吧。

Mummy Pig: Me, please! 我想喝！

Tips:

1. Put … to bed

佩奇和喬治在玩娃娃屋，George’s putting the dolls to bed.喬治把娃娃們安頓入睡。

Put sb. to bed. 把誰安頓入睡。這裡的somebody一般是指孩子或者家裡的寵物。

這個句子很容易望文生義成「把誰放到床上」，但其實put to bed的意思更為廣泛，它不僅包括了把孩子移動到床上這個動作，也包括了給孩子換上睡衣，蓋上小被子等睡前準備工作。

這句話不僅爸爸媽媽可以用，孩子自己跟玩偶過家家的時候，也可以用哦。

2. Help with

佩奇在跟玩偶玩下午茶派對的遊戲，喬治卻在讓玩偶們睡覺，於是佩奇說If you want to play with my doll's house, you have to help with the tea party. 如果你想玩娃娃屋的話，你必須要來幫忙開下午茶派對。

3. Take it away

喬治把蜘蛛放到了娃娃屋裡，佩奇嚇壞了，於是對豬爸爸說It’s too scary. Take it away. 它太嚇人了，把他拿走。

Take sth. away，把什麼東西拿走。

外賣的英文就是takeaway，帶走吃的東西。點外賣就是order takeaway.

4. Fetch

豬爸爸看見蜘蛛非常大，也很害怕，於是說I』ll just fetch Mummy Pig. 我去找豬媽媽過來。

Fetch，這裡是把某人帶來的意思。但具體是指到另一個地方去把誰帶過來。

比如鵝媽媽童謠裡面非常著名的Jack and Jill，裡面就有這麼一句Jack and Jill, went up the hill, to fetch a pail of water。這裡的fetch就是到另一個地方去把水取回來的意思。

5. Skinny

佩奇給蜘蛛取了一個名字，叫做Mr. Skinnylegs. 細腿先生。

Skinny的意思就是非常瘦的，皮包骨頭的。

如果你去逛zara，H&M之類的店，會發現他們很多牛仔褲上面都會有一個寫著Skinny的標籤，意思就是緊身款。Skinny jeans緊身牛仔褲。
