　　水，是什麼？水，是生命的源泉。如果沒有水，我們將無法繼續生存，由此可見水對我們是多麼的重要啊！但是，人們都把「節約水資源」這五個字時常掛在嘴邊，家長們也時常教育我們要養成這樣的好習慣，可是今天我才發現，我媽媽雖經常這樣教育我，可是連媽媽自己都沒有做到。

　　晚飯前我到廚房幫媽媽一些忙，正忙活的樂此不疲，我無意間注意到了水龍頭，換洗盆上的水龍頭，那兩個水龍頭都在滴水！我驚訝了，問媽媽為什麼不擰緊兩個水龍頭，媽媽竟然無所謂的說：「哎呀，沒關係的，這倆水龍頭早就壞了擰不緊的，滴就滴嘛，還能浪費多少水啊？」天啊，媽媽怎麼可以這麼說呢？要知道，這樣，每秒，每分，每時，每天，每周，每個月，都無所謂的話，那麼每年呢？每年會白白浪費掉多少水？我簡直無法想像了。世界上有許多嚴重缺水的地區，而我們這些自來水豐富的地區呢，卻在浪費水，我們根本就不知道水的重要性，它是多麼的珍貴啊！

　　日常生活中，我也仔細觀察過，我的父母在這些方面做的也很好，譬如：把每次的洗臉水都倒在一個桶裡，積攢在一塊兒留著拖地，如果積攢的水真的不夠的話再選用自來水拖地；用洗毛巾的水擦我的電瓶車……這些方法都可以節約不少水呢！爸爸媽媽這樣做我認為是非常對的，但是他(她)們也犯了錯誤，為什麼不擰緊水龍頭呢？如果水龍頭壞掉了的話，為什麼不買新的呢？不要在乎水龍頭的錢，節約水資源才是真正的大事，大家說我說的對嗎？

　　地球上的水並不是取之不盡用之不竭的，真正的淡水資源也不是很多，如果人人都不珍惜的話，那這地球上的水會愈來愈少直至消失，水，也是有限的。朋友們，節約水資源，珍惜水資源吧，我們的地球母親在哭泣，她為身上的水源不足而哭泣，然而，我們不應做點什麼嗎？
