我們已經是五年級的小學生了，生活上都是大人在幫助我們，我們是不是也可以幫助到別人呢?這樣的一次機會以終於來了。
那是一次我坐公共汽車回家的路上發生的事。公共汽車來了，車還沒停穩，一伙人就挨挨擠擠的爭著上車。我不想這樣，我就在一旁等，大家都上去了，我才上車。我一上車，還好，有座位。我剛想坐下來的時候，後面上來一個老奶奶，她環顧了四周，我也隨著她的目光向四周掃視了一遍，原來已經沒座位了。我決定給她讓個座。於是我對老奶奶說：「奶奶，來，坐這兒吧」。說完我站起，走到了一旁。老奶奶說：「孩子啊，還是你坐吧。」我連忙說：「還是您坐吧，我站著就可以了!」，就這樣老奶奶坐到了我的座位上。當時我覺得很是快樂，一顆心也終於放下，因為我當時心裡還壞壞的想過難道我想做一次好事的願望都實現不了嗎?這時突然聽見後面一個小女孩的媽媽好象在對她的孩子說：「你看人家大哥哥多懂事，要向哥哥學習啊!」我聽了，仿佛自己真的長大了，我能給予別人幫助了，心裡別提有多開心。
從這件事後，我真的很快樂，因為我學會了幫助別人。知道原來幫助別人是件讓人快樂的事，媽媽說的助人為樂，可能就是這個道理吧。

有這麼一個例子，在戰場上一家轟炸機直衝了下來，按理說應該立即臥倒。可一位班長看見旁邊的小戰士還筆直的在那站著。他毫不猶豫一個箭步把那小戰士撲倒在懷。飛機走後，他朝自己原來站著的地方看那裡被炸出倆個大坑。
從上面的例子可以看出來，幫助別人就是幫助自己。有大部分人認為自己沒必要幫助別人，自己管好自己就可以了。就打個比方，在你遇到困難時，一個朋友或者是一個不認識的人幫助你。你是否會在他困難時毫不猶豫幫助他那?答案是：一定。我們在換一個角度想，假如你一直是對別人困難時都袖手旁觀，當你遇到困難會有人幫你嗎?
有的時候看那些有很多死黨的人，很多很多都是樂於助人的。因為，在你困難是幫助你的人會是你記憶很深刻的人。還有一個例子，是一個很普通的司機，在送客人往某個地點送的時候，那位客人說要往回走。他很尷尬的說換衣服的時候忘拿錢了。那位司機反而安慰那位客人，又送給那人往返的車費。回去之後司機就忘記這件事了，因為他不是第一次這樣做。不久之後，就有人邀請他做他的司機。而那人就是某一個銀行行長。這位司機有著寬容的胸懷，有著世界上最美的心。他很樂於幫助別人，即使不是驚天動地的大事，可是他卻一直幫助別人。這是很不容易的，正如毛主席所說的，做一個好人不難，難得是一直做好人。而那個司機卻堅持下去，直到幸運砸到他的頭。其實，很多人認為幫助別人沒有回報，沒有意義。這樣的一輩子都不會有自己幸福，幸運永遠都不砸到他的頭。
人生就是這樣，幫助別人就是幫助自己，你只要一直善良下去，你一定會變成最幸福最幸運的人。
