同樣是拒絕，必須懂得用不同的方式、恰當的詞彙來得體地說No。

如果你只懂一個No，未免太簡單粗暴。

沒關係，今天教你英語說No的藝術！

There are actually many ways of saying no, different words express different nuance: 有很多種方法說「No」，每種方式都有細微的區別

1. nope

Nope is a very casual way of saying no: Nope是特別輕鬆、口語的方式

If you didn't have the "e" at the end, you will get "nop[nɑp]" not "nope [nəʊp]": 上次我們說過「Yup」，現在又有了「Nope」，都可以在後面加個「p」音，只是拼寫不同，不是「Nop」而是「Nope」.

"Nope" sounds more friendly and relaxed, whereas "no" can sound too strong: Nope的語氣跟No相比更友善、更輕鬆，有時候「No」會顯得太強硬

2. Nah

這也是一個軟化語氣的詞，感覺比Nope更客氣。

「Nah」聽起來是你經過猶豫、思考才拒絕的，能給對方面子。

3. Uh-uh

這個詞和上次講的uh-huh很像。

大家找不同!

Uh-uh: no

uh-huh: yes

光看字很搞，聽讀音一下就明白。多聽Jenny, Adam uh-uh幾次哦！

另外，常看美劇的朋友可以想像一個黑人女生，一手叉腰、一手搖擺的畫面，

她們這個動作，通常會配Uh-uh。

It's quite similar, just the spelling is different: 是很像，就是拼法不一樣

4. No way/No way, Jose

No way也是美國人口語裡超喜歡用的。相信大家都知道它的意思：沒門兒

不過你知道它還有一個版本嗎？

No way Jose!

注意Jose的讀音：hoʊ'zeɪ

5. No Siree/No Siree Bob

"Yes"有"Yessir"的說法，No這裡呢，有「No Siree」

Sometimes they even say "no siree Bob". I don't know who Bob is. It doesn't matter: 有時也會說「no siree Bob」，但是這裡的Bob沒有任何意思，就像Jose一樣，只是一個很常見的名字。
