　　IsufferedalotfromtheexperienceofdyingeighttimesduringmycomaandIcouldn’topenmymouthtotalkortocommunicatewhenIeventuallycamearound.Atthattime,itseemedthatwalkingwasnevergoingtohappenagainduetoalltheextremeinjuries.Justlikemybody,mydreamswerecompletelydestroyed.ButIwasnotgoingtoletmyinjuriesstopmefromrealizingmydreams．

　　Afterreceivingatotalof15operationsand36bloodtransfusions,Ihadtomakeeverygreatefforttolearntotalk,eat,walk,shower,andliveonmyownagain.WhenIwasoutofhospital,_IstillhadtogotooutpatienttherapyinWaldorf,Maryland.AfterIspentafewmonthsinawheelchair,_Itookbabystepstowalkonmyown.Itwasamiraclethat

　　Iwasabletowalkagain,butIstillwantedtoprovethatIcouldnotonlywalk,butalsorun.

　　Whenitcametrue,Iwantedtogetbackintothepoolagain.Afterhavingafewlungtests,Iwasabletogointhepoolalittlebiteachweek.Afterafewmonthsofswimtraining,_IbeganmyfreshmanyearatSt.Mary’sCollegeofMarylandandthenbecameaproudmemberoftheswimteam.

　　Bytellingmystory,Iwanttomakeapositiveinfluenceontheworld.Iamjusttryingtolivedadpushmeroundinmythemandtheirfamilymembers.Iwantedtoletthemknowthateverythingwasgoingtobeokay.Somehow,thingswouldworkoutforthebest.
