1. how many/how much問句

1). 對數量進行提問

how many後接可數名詞複數。

How many flowers are there in the vase?

花瓶裡有多少支花兒？

how much後接不可數名詞。

How much water is there in the bottle?

瓶子裡有多少水？

2). 對價格或重量進行提問

how much意為「多少」。

-How much does the pig weigh? 這頭豬多重？

-Eighty kilos. 八十公斤。

-How much is your new computer? 你的新電腦多少錢？

-4,000 yuan. 4000塊。

2. more, less, fewer的用法

1）more是much，many的比較級，在名詞前表示「更多的……」，more既可以修飾可數名詞，也可以修飾不可數名詞。

more也可作副詞，常放在某些雙音節或多音節形容詞、副詞前構成比較級。

There will be more people in the future.將來會有更多的人。

Is there more air pollution in this city than in that one? 這個城市的空氣汙染比那個城市的更嚴重嗎？

The bike is more expensive than that one. 這輛自行車比那輛貴。

另外，more還可用於「two(three)/ some/ many/ a few/ a little/ any more 名詞」的結構中，意思是「又、再、另外」，表示數量有所增加。
