Pedro and Papa went to the market.

"Today we must find a new burro," Papa said.

"A burro to help us pull?" asked Pedro.

"Or a burro to help us carry things?"

"We must find a burro to help us pull and carry things," Papa said.

「我們必須找到一頭驢子幫我們拉車運貨，」爸爸說。

"We must find a burro that is just right."

「我們必須找到那頭對的驢子。」

There were many burros at the market.

集市上有很多驢子。

Some burros were big.

有的驢子身材高大。

Some burros were little.

有的驢子身材矮小。

"Oh Papa," said Pedro.

「噢，爸爸，」佩德羅說道。

"How will we ever find a burro that is just right?"

「我們怎麼才能找到那頭對的驢子？」

"Maybe the burro will find us!" said Papa.

「也許那頭驢會找找到我們！」爸爸說。

Pedro and Papa saw a burro pulling a cart.

佩德羅和爸爸看見一頭驢子在拉輛馬車。

"This burro can help us pull," Papa said.

「這頭驢子能幫助我們拉車，」爸爸說。

Pedro and Papa saw a burro carrying jugs of water.

佩德羅和爸爸看見一頭驢正在運送幾壺水。

"This burro can help us carry things," Papa said.

「這頭毛驢可以幫助我們運貨，」爸爸說道。

Pedro felt a tug on his shirt.

佩德羅感到有人在拉他的襯衣。

He saw a burro wearing a hat!

他看見一頭戴著帽子的毛驢！

"How about this burro, Papa?" asked Pedro.

「這頭毛驢怎麼樣，爸爸？」佩德羅問道。

"How can this burro help us?" asked Papa.

「這頭毛驢怎麼幫助我們？」爸爸問。

The burro tugged Pedro's shirt again.

這頭毛驢又拉扯佩德羅的襯衣。

"This burro can help us pull," said Pedro.

「毛驢可以幫我們拉車，」佩德羅說。

The burro picked up a basket.

毛驢用嘴叼著籃子。

"This burro can help us carry things," said Pedro.

「這頭驢可以幫助我們運貨，」佩德羅說道。

Hee-haw! Hee-haw!

嘻-哈！嘻-哈！

"This burro can talk, too!" said Pedro.

「這頭毛驢也會說話！」佩德爾。

"This burro is just right!"

「這頭驢就是我們要找的！」

The burro licked Pedro's cheek.

毛驢在舔佩德羅的臉頰。

The burro licked Papa's cheek.

毛驢在舔爸爸的臉頰。

"We have found our new burro!" said Papa.

「我們找到我們的新毛驢了！」爸爸說。

"Oh no, Papa," said Pedro.

「哦不，爸爸，」佩德羅說。

"We did not find our new burro. The burro found us!"

「我們沒找到我們的新毛驢。是毛驢找到的我們！」
