當我還是一個頑皮的孩子的時候，也許是受到電影《小兵張嘎》的影響，我夢想著成為一名像張嘎那樣的軍人。我想如果我是一名軍人，那我就會像他那樣會遊泳、潛水、爬樹。那樣該多好啊。所以我開始學習遊泳、跳水、爬樹。我每天都練習，終於我做到了。後來，我升初中的時候，參加了軍訓。我突然發現當軍人是非常困難的，我還不夠強大到能適應。我不得不放棄我的夢想。

但是，我還是沒有洩氣，我有了一個新的目標，就是當一名郵差，哪怕是一個報童也可以。如果我成為一個報童，我可以騎車在街道上飛馳把報紙扔在每一戶門廊前。這是件多麼酷的事。於是，我開始學起了騎車。經過每天的練習，我可以騎得很快了。但令我失望的是，我想要的那份工作只有西方國家才有，而中國是沒有的，因為中國家庭是沒有門廊的。而中國的郵差不得不將一摞很厚的報紙從非常窄的口子投進很小的郵箱裡。這樣的工作與我的想像天差地別。所以我的夢想再一次破滅。
